  • The Fourth Circuit recently affirmed summary judgment for a mortgage lender in a Truth in Lending Act (“TILA”) matter.
  • The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the long-standing rule that in cases involving multiple defendants, the 30-day period for removal under 28 U.S.C. §1446(b) begins to run as soon as the first defendant is served.
