Another partner served as lead counsel in contested annexation and immunity cases for several counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Morris & Morris attorneys have represented the city of Richmond on a wide variety of matters for over 20 years.
Our representation of local governments has included prisons and jails. One of our attorneys has extensive experience as a prosecuter at the local and state level. She has handled hundreds of habeas corpus cases. in addition, we have experience representing jail and prison officials in civil rights cases and petitions to the Supreme Court.
