
Sandra Gregor
Sandra S. Gregor handles a variety of civil litigation matters, including insurance coverage, products liability, premises liability, personal injury litigation, professional liability, business litigation, and creditor’s rights. Ms. Gregor has experience in all phases of civil litigation, including motions practice, and has taken and defended numerous depositions.
For 2009, Ms. Gregor has been named a “Rising Star” in Virginia Super Lawyers. Ms. Gregor joined Morris & Morris in the spring of 2005, after practicing with McGuireWoods, LLP since graduation from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2001. At McGuireWoods, Ms. Gregor was an associate in the commercial litigation section, where she handled various complex litigation matters, including discovery and privilege issues. She also participated in the “Stop the Violence” Program through the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society. Through this program, she assisted victims of domestic abuse in obtaining protective orders from the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts of Richmond and Henrico County.
Ms. Gregor was born in South Boston, Virginia, spending her formative years in South Boston and Martinsville, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. After graduation, Ms. Gregor worked in the social service area, including child protective services work and assisting the homeless in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In 1995, she received her Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following social work school, she worked with at-risk youth as a juvenile probation officer at Richmond Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and as a counselor for Richmond Public Schools and several youth organizations in the City of Richmond.
Ms. Gregor is a member of several professional organizations including the Virginia State Bar, the Richmond Bar Association, and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. She is licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in Virginia.
In her spare time, Ms. Gregor spends time with her son, Nate, and her husband, Ken. Her interests include tennis, hiking, and bike riding.
