
Erica Giovanni
Erica L. Giovanni focuses her practice on civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and premises liability. She specializes in domestic relations, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, and property settlement agreements.
Ms. Giovanni is originally from Ormond Beach, Florida. She attended college at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, graduating in 2007 with honors and majors in both Political Science and Communication Studies. In college, Ms. Giovanni served as a captain to the Furman Mock Trial team. She was a leader of several student organizations and heavily involved in the fine arts as an actress, vocal performer, and theatrical director.
After graduating college, Ms. Giovanni attended the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Giovanni served as President of the Trial Advocacy Board and as a senior staff member of the University of Richmond Law Review. She was also a member of the Moot Board, Student Bar Association, and the Federalist Society. In 2010, she was honored with the “Virginia Trial Lawyers Trial Advocacy Award,” awarded each year to the graduating student who most notably excelled at trial competitions.
Prior to joining Morris & Morris, Ms. Giovanni served as law clerk to the Honorable Harold W. Burgess, Jr. of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit of Virginia. In that capacity, she conducted extensive research, drafted memoranda, and proposed opinions for the Court.
In her spare time, Ms. Giovanni stays active in her church and local politics. She also coaches the University of Richmond’s Trial Advocacy Board.
